My wife Christina is an Associate Producer for a San Diego-based production company, as well as a freelance AVID and Media100 editor. If you attended E3 this year, you would've caught her work on the Mad Catz videowall. Although she's not a big fan of synthcore, she can appreciate a good cyber song if I play it enough times. Her two favorite Re-Constriction tracks are Clay People's "A Strange Day" and the original version of Diatribe's "The Other Side". Her idol is Thelma Schoonmaker, Martin Scorsese's brilliant film editor. Some of Christina's favorite bands are the Smiths, Cocteau Twins, and a lot of that Brit pop stuff. Lately she's been listening to a bunch of swing bands, like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, so swing lessons for me can't be far behind. She also collects Lisa Simpson, Sally from Peanuts, and Greedo memorabilia. Her college graduation photo appears in the CD booklet of Torture Tech Overdrive, she is also on the center of Rivet Head Culture, and I used photos from Halloween (she dressed as a "Goth") on the tray card and CD of the Songs From The Wasteland compilation. |
